Europe’s largest science museum, La Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, did not skimp when it comes to cool contents for its children’s exhibit. While some features — like the planetarium and electricity exhibit — may be standard fare, the IMAX theater, the train exhibit, and the submarine (an actual French Naval vessel from the 1950s) are anything but. Visit the aptly named Explora and take an eclectic journey inside an airplane, a camera, and the human body. One caveat: The museum is closed Mondays, so plan accordingly.
