One of the most authentic pieces of pageantry a London visitor can be part of is the Ceremony of the Keys. This is when the Beefeaters — the guards more formally known as Yeoman Warders — lock up the Tower of London for the night. It’s been done the same way for more than 700 years, going from 9:30 to 10:05 p.m., rain or shine. To attend, you need a ticket, which are free. See the Web site for details.
