Wander inside the renovated Arthouse to find original frescoes from a 1920s-era movie theater snaking up the columns. It’s the only non-contemporary art in this historic building, which is doing everything possible to make itself accessible to the masses. If the free admission isn’t enough, look up to find a projector screen facing out from a second-floor window, with images easily visible from the downtown sidewalks below. That’s the way to take it to the streets.
